Virtual Body Doubling Sessions

Join us for free virtual body doubling sessions led by a member of the Gather and Grow therapy team.

What is Body Doubling?

​

Body doubling is a supportive strategy where people work alongside each other—virtually or in person—to help with task initiation and follow-through. Having someone present can provide a sense of accountability, motivation, focus, and structure. Many people find that simply not being alone with a task makes it easier to begin or complete.

What Can I Expect?

​

A Gather and Grow team member will host the virtual meeting. At the start, they’ll briefly introduce themselves and share what they plan to work on. You’re welcome to share your own task if you choose, but it’s completely optional.

​

Midway through the session, the host will offer a gentle check-in to see how things are going for the group.

 

Please note:
These sessions are not therapy. Our team member will be working on their own tasks and will not be providing clinical support or problem-solving guidance. Their role is to be a present, supportive co-participant.

​

Other Things:

  • You do not have to have your camera or microphone on

  • You can join and leave at any time 

  • You do not have "RSVP" or let anyone know if you will be attending 

  • You can remain anonymous
